Football action at Colina Verde Golf & Sports Resort!!!On Monday 11th July Portuguese Primeira Liga outfit SC Olhanense took on Crawley Town in what was a friendly afair which ended 2 - 1 to SC Olhanense. The fans were treated to a great game of football and a beautiful day to boot. |

St. Mirren Football ClubOur club, St. Mirren, have a tradition of spending a week of our pre-season training abroad, where we concentrate on developing our players' fitness, prior to our Scottish Premier League campaign kicking off.It is of the upmost importance that our training camp provides all the necessary facilities required for our needs. Colina Verde is without doubt, an excellent venue for any football team to train and spend time building up team spirit. The pitches are in excellent condition and with the gym and pool on hand, we have been putting the team through three training sessions a day. The food and accommodation are of a high standard that have certainly added to the overall success of our week here. The hotel staff has been incredibly helpful. We would recommend this hotel to anyone. |

The grass was soft and firm at the same time. It felt very good and helped enormously in our training exercises during the week. In my opinion it is one of the best pitches I have ever trained on.
